Visit to Tibet was opened by a group of experienced trek, travel, and tour operators who each have decades of experience in the field to provide quality tours and treks in Nepal, Tibet, India and Bhutan. Our support team of experienced guides and supporting staff, which mainly comprises of locals of the places we operate our tours in, can provide you with a world class professional service and in depth knowledge of the local culture, tradition, climate and the flora and fauna specific to the region. Here at Visit to Tibet, we pride ourselves at putting our guests first and those who work for us second, rather than the bottom line of the company as prevalent in this industry today. We would rather be a good host than a profitable company for we believe in the age old saying of the land that guests represents gods. It is this company philosophy that has helped us earn the reputation of being the most dependable tour operators in Nepal and earned us some lifelong friends that first came to us as clients.
In keeping with these philosophies and a desire to operate a tour company to showcase the real Nepal and the hospitability of the real Nepali people, a group of friends came together years ago to start this company and with the positive response over the years has never looked back. Today, we are proud to represent our company and introduce ourselves.
I am Bashu Kumar Adhikari born in Fulkharka-2, Dhading in the western region of Nepal. After finishing my high school education from Fulkharka, I entered the tourism industry in 1990. Working up from the ranks, I first led a tour as a guide to Mount Kailash in 1992. Since then I have led tours all over Nepal, Tibet, India and Bhutan but being the place where I first earn my reputation as a good team leader, I hold a soft spot for the Mount Kailash region and so specialize in operating tours in that region. With the contacts and relations established over the years on the trails as a team leader, I can assure you the best and hassle free experience with us. I am Basu Dev Nepal born in Fulkharka-1, Dhading in the western part of Nepal. After finishing my high school from Fulkharka, I entered the tourism industry in Nepal in 1991. Starting as a high altitude cook I have successfully climbed various peaks in both Nepal and Tibet and trekked all over Nepal and Tibet. With training in high altitude cooking, I take pride and pleasure in my work in providing a warm, familiar comfort meal to our guests while on the trail. I at times lead tours but primarily manage the field staff but above all make sure that our guests are comfortable and having the best experience they can possibly have. I would like to welcome you to Nepal and hope to be a host to you in your discovery of this beautiful land and people.
