Lhasa is the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region. It covers an area of 544 square kilometer. Lhasa is also called “The Land of Gods” in Tibet. Lhasa lies at an altitude of 3,600 meters. It has a history of over 13 centuries. Tibet sees sunshine for about 3,000 hours annually, So, it is also named “the City of Sunshine”. There are many historic sites like temples and Monsteries like Jokhang temple, Potala Palace, Drepung, Sera, Ganden Monsatery. Beside that there are many chorten, We will also see lakes like Namtso, Yamdurk Tso etc which are really renouned in the world.
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1300 m)
Welcome at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Our representative will greet you and escort you to the hotel for check-in and stay overnight on B. B Plan Basis. (Bed and Breakfast).
Day 02: Kathmandu – visit temples
After breakfast, we go for half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. After lunch we will allow free time for final preparation for tour i.e. checking the equipment. If our clients need to buy a few things or rent something, our staff will assist you in the way you like. In the evening Group visa / Tibet permit will be handed over and briefing about the trip will be organized. Overnight at Hotel on B.B Basis.
Day 03: Fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu:
Early morning after breakfast we fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa. Upon your arrival in Lhasa, local Tibetan guide will meet you and transfer you to Lhasa. Today we will have rest and free to relax and acclimatize. Overnight at Hotel on BB Basis.
Day 04: Drive from Lhasa to Namtso
We will drive from Lhasa to Namtso. Namtso is beautiful lake which lies north east of Lhasa. We will drive back to Lhasa after exploring the Lake Namtso. Overnight at hotel on BB plan.
Day 05: Sightseeing around Lhasa : Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street.
We visit the oldest street Barkhor where the Jokhang Temple is located. We also visit the Potala Palace.
Day 06: Tour around Lhasa: Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery
We visit Drepung Monsatery and Sera Monstery.
Day 07: Lhasa-Tsedang
Today in the morning we will drive to Tsedang. We will visit Yumbulakang and Trundruk monastery./ overnight at guest house.
Day 08: Tsedang – Samye monastery:
In the morning after breakfast we visit Samya Monastery which is the first one built in the 7th century. It has three building with different style (Tibetan Hans and India) and we will stay one night in Samye monasatery./ Overnight at Samye monastery.
Day 09: Samye to Lhasa:
We will drive from Samye to Lhasa.
Day 10: Transfer to the Gonger airport to fly to Kathmandu.
In the morning fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu, during the day free, Shopping.
Day 11: We are free until departure free, Transfer to the Airport for your flight to home Town.
